Been Busy

The past few weeks have been pretty busy here.

Writing wise I've been in editing mode. First was Doing It Her Way, which be released November 1st from Siren Publishing. It the 1st in a six part series call What Are Friends For. Second is Uncommonly Brazen, which will be the 4th in my Brazen Sister Series also with Siren Publishing.

I'm also working on Book 2 in the What Are Friends Series. I hope to have it finished before November 1st. Why you ask? Well because I'll be Nanoing for the month of November.

NaNoing? Yes. I'll be taking part in the National Novel Writing Month. NaNo is when people try to write a novel in a month. You can get more info at http://www.nanowrimo.org/ For me I'm going to be writing Deliberately Brazen book 5 in the Brazen Sister Series. My characters are ready and as a panster I don't really plot my stories. Now  that doesn't mean I don't have a plan in mind. I have a beginning, middle, and end and that's a start. Once I have that I try to think on things I want to have happen in each chapter. I list them and use the chapter points to keep my story on track. Other than that I let the characters and story take me for a ride.

So as it stands I need to finish a novella, finish my self edits on Brazen 4, and  get book 5's chapter points done. before November 1st. 7 days. Then I'm locking myself in my office and only coming up for food, water, and bathroom breaks. Wish me luck.

First Fall Trip

Okay hubby and I took our 2 boys and our 12 year old nephew on a little day trip. Where you ask? Deerfield MA. We went to the Yankee Candle Factory.

The we went to a corn maze. It took a few hours. Below is a picture of Matt shooting the Potato Gun. He missed.

After that we did a little secnic site seeing. My son thought this light pole was too cool not to take a picture of.

Summer is over! Now what?

Wait summer is over. Where the hell did it go? I had lots of plans and things I wanted to do. Now thinking about it I feel like I've been very unproductive. Of the ten or twelve things that should have gotten done only a few did.

My office got finished and I love. Thanks hun.

My hubby and I did take a little trip up the the Yankee Candle Factory. It was a great day and we both needed the break. There's so much to look at.

My daughter and I went to a few conferences Authors After Dark in NJ just a few weeks ago, and RomCon in Denver back in July. I love traveling with her. She's going to hate that I used this picture.

Have to say it was awesome to meet so many cool people, even though I missed a few. I met a few authors Melissa Schroeder, Stella Price, Brynn Paulin, Mia Watts, and Joey W. Hill just to mention a few. Joy from Joyfully Reviewed was present at both events and easy to spot with her Bunny ears.

Here's hoping I reach at least half of the goals I have set for the fall and winter.

I'm going to:
finish my Brazen Sister Series
work on my What Are Friends For novella series
Getting back on a noramal eating and sleeping schedule would be good too.
