Is this your first year attending AAD?

Yes, this is my first year at AAD. I’m so excited to be part of this year’s event! I love meeting readers, and from what I hear, the most dedicated readers attend AAD.

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

The one place I know I won’t be is hiding in my room. I spend so much time alone while I’m writing that when I get out I want to stay out! Look for me in the bar or the lobby - wherever there are people to talk to.

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

The fifth book in my Mustangs Baseball series, SPRING TRAINING, came out at the end of March. It’s the conclusion of a trilogy within the series - I know, that’s sort of strange! I first introduced Brooke and Todd as secondary characters in the second book, GOING DEEP. Readers asked to hear more about them, so I wrote a novella, FREE AGENT (which is free everywhere) telling how the couple met. Readers were still asking for more, so I gave Brooke and Todd their happy-ever-after in SPRING TRAINING.

Just a few days ago, INSIDE HEAT, the first book in the series, came out as part of a sports romance boxed set titled HEART OF A CHAMPION. I’m so excited to be part of this collaboration. There are five full-length novels bundled together for only .99.

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

For those who haven’t read any of my books, I’d suggest FREE AGENT. It’s a prequel novella to the Mustangs Baseball series and it’s FREE everywhere online.

What panels will you be on at AAD?

Look for me on the Sports Romance Panel,  Take a Chance, and the Erotica Panel.Drop by and say hello!

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

Since I’m allergic to the sulphites in wine, I go straight to the hard stuff! However, I don’t particularly like the taste of most liquors so I always go for something that is more fruit juice than anything else. And I’ll never turn down a diet soda. :-)

SWAG. We all love SWAG! What cool stuff are you bringing?

I’ve had so much fun shopping for SWAG! If you’re a wine lover, I have the most awesome corkscrews to hand out. I’ll also have t-shirts, and ceramic coasters.

We’re all excited about the book signing. What books will you have on hand to sign and sell?

I’ll be signing all five books in the Mustangs Baseball series.- INSIDE HEAT,  GOING DEEP, BASES LOADED, SWITCH HITTER, and, SPRING TRAINING.

Yep! *arm flail*

What made you want to come to AAD?

The awesome reputation AAD has every year and my pure envy for everyone who gets to go.

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

I’ll be in the bar for starters. After that, it is anything goes. :)

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

Breakdown (Crash Into Me #1) should be early August.

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

Wanted, my first novel. If you like action/adventure and romance it is a good read.

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

Anything with vodka. :)

Is this your first year attending AAD?

More like my fourth! AAD is on my calendar as one of the MUST GO TO events of the year.

What brings you back to AAD?

The list could go on for pages but numbers one through one hundred (and beyond) are the readers. AAD is the best con for authors to meet, interact, and have fun with readers passionate about all genres of romance. Besides, it’s a blast!

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

I’m a lobby type - and always looking for someone to talk with about books, boys, and just about anything else. So come find me!

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

I just released my first full-length novel, which I will promoting at AAD - Nashville Trio, a Music City Menage (available NOW). I will also be promoting the kickoff of my new paranormal series with a novella called Soul Seduction (due out in July)  

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

I also love the most recent one, so it’s hard to say!  If you like contemporary menage then definitely Nashville Trio. If paranormal is your thing, then check out Soul Seduction.

Tell us about the EVENTS you’re hosting at AAD!

I’ll be part of a number of events at AAD. I’m teaming up with a bunch of other fab authors to sponsor Karoake at the NC Music Factory on Wednesday night. I’m also hosting a game table at the Game Parlor, where you can try your luck and win some fab prizes!  

What panels will you be on at AAD?

My first story Revving Her Up is about NASCAR so i’m looking forward to the Sports Romance panel. Nashville Trio is of course a menage - and a love story - so Im also on the Multipartne romance panel. You can also find me on the New Adult panel, and on Sci Fi/Fantasy, which are my two other writing (and reading) passions!

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

I usually drink red wine but can easily be coaxed into trying something sexy but not-too-sweet. Some kind of champagne cocktail with a kick.

Everyone loves the conference costumes. Can you give any hints about what to expect?

I have two fab corsets that I love to wear up at AAD! And since my new paranormal series is about demons you can expect something a little devilish…but that’s all I’m saying! ;-)

I have fun guitar-shaped bottle opener/keychains to promote Nashville Trio, and sexy racing tattoos for Revving Her Up.  I haven’t decided on the swag for Soul Seduction yet, so it will be a surprise to me as well!

I’ll have paperback copies of Nashville Trio as well as e-copies of my novellas.

Is this your first year attending AAD?

Yes, this will be my first year attending and I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am!

What made you want to come to AAD?

AAD is so unique in that it allows us to really get to know our readers. I love meeting readers and finding out more about them and their lives.

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

I have a military romance series called CSA Case Files. I would highly recommend starting with the first in the series, Captured Innocence (CSA Case Files 1), due to the fact that the books do interconnect with an overall arc. Each team member will receive their happily ever after, but each case may or may not be connected….you must read to find out!  Did I happen to mention that Captured Innocence is only .99 cents for the month of May? :)

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

Coffee, coffee, and more coffee….unless the bartender can whip up a strawberry daiquiri (that might make me change my mind).

SWAG. We all love SWAG! What cool stuff are you bringing?

I love promotional items and finding unique things to hand out! My favorite swag piece is a coffee mug so that my friends can drink caffeine with me in the mornings...

We’re all excited about the book signing. What books will you have on hand to sign and sell?

I will have all the books in the CSA Case File series….I love all of the team members and I would never be able to bring just one!

Hey! Thanks for having me.

Is this your first year attending AAD?

This will be my first year as a featured author *jazz hands*. I went a few years ago when it was in New Orleans and it was a blast.

What brings you back to AAD?

I had SO much fun as an attendee I just had to come back again, and I’m super excited about it. I might be counting down the days, hours and minutes already...

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

Hey, what happens behind closed doors is secret! I’m kidding. Chances are I’ll be in the bar a little, but I want to be wherever the action is. I’m at AAD to hang out with awesome people, so, I guess the question is, Where will YOU be? Because that’s where I’m going!

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

Yes! Today, actually, Duty Bound is releasing. It’s the second in my Bayou Bound series about cops and bounty hunters finding their kinky love while battling the bad guys of New Orleans. I classify it as BDSM suspense.

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

Dang, that’s a hard one. Either Under His Skin, the first in my So Inked series about female tattoo artists. Or, Picture Her Bound, the first in the Bayou Bound series.

I heard through the grapevine you’re sponsoring a table at the Sins & Virtues ball. Tell us more!

I am!!! Who told you? I must thank them. Anyways, I’ll be at the Temperance Table, where we will be practicing the art of restraint. There will be handcuffs, rope and naughty toys to give out to the people who sit with me.

What panels will you be on at AAD?

I’m on four! I think I’m on every single BDSM panel, and one called Sexy, Sexy, Sexy. I’m really excited about being on the BDSM panel where we talk about bringing the kink out of the books and into the bedroom. That’s going to be a fun panel!

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

Dr Pepper…  I know, not as exciting, but man, I’m an addict!!

Books! Fabulous readers! Awesome authors! What more could a girl ask for?

 

Sleep. I'm kidding, because I'll go without that for a good time. 

 

So I thought I'd let everyone know I made it back from my trip to Atlanta in one piece and with only a slightly muddled brain. We packed a lot of action in a six day trip.

I'll break it down a little. We left Massachusetts on Wednesday morning and drove down to Georgia. Stopping along the way to visit Dinosaur Land in Virginia. We arrived Thursday and after going to Stone Mountain and the Atlanta Zoo hubby dropped us off at the hotel in Atlanta around 11am. Then he and our youngest went to Tennessee to visit hubby's mom and Bill for a few days.





They went to see the dam that Harrison Ford jumped off in the movie The Fugitive. Sunday morning they picked us up and we drove home.

Friday we spent the morning setting up my space for the book signing. Friday night we went to the Georgia Aquarium with a bunch of authors and readers.







Saturday was the signing from 10am until 5pm. To the left is my table and to the right is the goodie basket I gave away. I had a great time at The Novel Experience Event book signing and parties. I got to meet some new authors and visit with some I already knew. The readers were wonderful.

After that we had dinner at the Hard Rock with Nina Gooden, Diana and Sara York. Diana and I shared a big decadent Brownie Sunday. She deserved it and I never turn down ice cream.

It was my daughter's birthday and the waitress had them turn down the music and everyone in the restaurant yelled "Happy Birthday". Later I got to hang out with Brandy Walker, and Fitzpatrick sisters Jackie and Rhonda.














We stopped at the Natural Bridge but it was closed. I did get a few pictures from inside the gift shop.






So now that the TNEE2014 craziness is over I can gear myself up for my appearance in August. I'll be attending Authors After Dark in Charlotte. More info on that awesomeness to come soon!
