 So Selena, this is your first year attending AAD, right?
It is! I’m an AAD virgin.

What made you want to come to AAD?
I’ve heard so many great things about AAD and my friend Eliza Gayle’s been prodding me to attend for a few years. I’ve got to see what all the fuss is about and I can’t wait to meet new readers and finally put faces to the names I’ve known for years.

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?
I’ll be around. Look for me hanging out in the halls or perhaps in the lobby when my feet give out. In the evening I wouldn’t be surprised if you found me at the bar. I’m on the hunt for the perfect martini

 

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?
I would say Games Demons Play (http://bit.ly/GamesDemonsPlay). So many readers are shy about reading a “demon” book but this isn’t your traditional demon. He’s drop dead gorgeous and in my Mystic Isle series, demons are simply practical jokers. They’re not evil. So it’s not a traditional demon book by a long shot. It’s actually as sweet as it is sexy (and trust me, it’s sexy!) My demon’s also tender and protective when he’s not putting blue food coloring on your tooth brush. I think it’s one of my best books to date.

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?
Well, like I mentioned, I’m on the hunt for the perfect martini. I tend to try things in waves. One year, I sampled a few hundred chocolate bars, the next I sampled margaritas. This year I’m on martinis. I had an incredible Key Lime martini in the Florida Keys a few months back so it’ll be hard to top that. I haven’t had a chocolate martini yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

SWAG. We all love SWAG! What cool stuff are you bringing?
I love romance trading cards and the ones for my Stormy Weather series are seriously gorgeous. So I’ll have a bunch of those on hand. I’ll also have some of my famous I Like My Werewolves Cajun t-shirts!

We’re all excited about the book signing. What books will you have on hand to sign and sell?
Things may change but I know I’m bringing Ask For It, my New York Times bestseller. If steamy contemporary romance (including sinfully handsome former NFL superstars) are you thing, you’ll want to check this out.

Is this your first year attending AAD?

No but it is my first year coming as an author and a featured author at that!

 

What brings you back to AAD?

A lot of things bring me back. A chance to hang out with my friends, see a new city and meet new people. I always have a great time at AAD. There are a tons of parties, panels and people. This year, for me, it is all about the readers and getting to know them.

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

Fingers crossed I will have the next Tiger Nip book, FINDING MORE, completed and ready for the masses. I’m attempting to get it written while doing a military move. WA to VA. Its long and grueling. House hunting, unpacking, finding all of my goodies.

 

 

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

If you haven’t read me, then CRAVING MORE. If you have but you’ve only read my paranormal then I suggest checking out my contemporary romance CAUGHT IN THE MOMENT. My husband is Airborne qualified and has been since the early days of his Army career (he’s been in for just about 21 years now). I had that brilliant idea to set up a contemporary world involving skydiving. The first book introduces you to the Chute Shack and gang.

Tell us about the party you’re hosting at AAD!

I’m joining the always fabulous Melissa Schroeder Open Bar. If you’ve been to AAD before then you know the open bar I’m talking about. The one where you get drinks and a chance to hang out with other readers and the hostess with the mostest. This year Mel invited other authors to join her and I’m one of them. I’ve heard word that Tilly Greene will be one of the hostesses as well.

 

What panels will you be on at AAD?

Panels….let me think. I’m doing the Sports panel and will be talking about my Freefall series. I’m also doing the Cover Art panel. Before I started writing I was doing personal assistant work for Melissa Schroeder, Heather Long and Lissa Matthews. I started working up promo and doing covers. My biggest client being Mel. You may have seen some of my work; The Santinis, the Semper Fi Marines, the Sinfully Supernatural box set, to name a few. I’ve also done all of my self-published books.

 

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

Jack & Coke. It is my drink of choice. My poison. My most favorite ever. If it was a shot though then I love Buttery Nipples.

 

SWAG. We all love SWAG! What cool stuff are you bringing?

Remember that move I talked about earlier….I’m hoping I’ll have time to order a few things before the conference. Right now I have Tiger Nip trading card packs and pens.

 

We’re all excited about the book signing. What books will you have on hand to sign and sell?

As of right now I’ll have Craving More, Claiming More, and the con only book Dallas & Kacie. I hope to have my first two Freefall books there as well.

 Is this your first year attending AAD?
Yes, it is! I’ve thought about attending in the past, but I’ve always had conflicts or something else getting in the way. I’m excited, because I’ve heard great things about AAD. Let’s get the party started!

What made you want to come to AAD?
I’ve heard so much about it from so many people--authors and readers alike--and I wanted to see it for myself.

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?
LIGHT THE LAMP, book 3 in my Portland Storm hockey romance series, is releasing on June 12, so it will be the newest release. I’ll have copies with me!

Life’s been rough lately for Noelle Payne, but she’s not one to let negativity rule. So, she lost her job? She’ll find another one. The bank foreclosed on the house? Well, she can live out of her car for a while. There’s always an upside to be found…but now Noelle needs to find something to give her life meaning. She owes it to the universe to figure it out, too, because a stranger just saved her life.

When Liam Kallen’s wife died, his goal-scoring ability died with her. After a trade from the only pro hockey team he’s ever played for, he’s now playing for the NHL’s Portland Storm. Everyone said he needed a change of scenery, but nothing changes until he rescues Noelle. All of a sudden, the world once again looks bright and he’s lighting the lamp like he used to.

Noelle’s cheerful disposition is just the bit of sunlight Liam needs in his life. He wants to give her everything she needs because she’s everything he wants. The problem? She doesn’t believe she needs anything…at least nothing material. The one thing they both know she truly needs—a real purpose—also happens to be the one thing he doesn’t know how to give her. If he can’t help her find that, she might walk away and take all her sunshine with her.

Also, the 4th book in the series--DELAY OF GAME--will release just after AAD on August 11. I might have a few ARCs on hand, but no promises.

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?
SEDUCED BY THE GAME is a hockey romance anthology with eight novellas written by nine authors (three of us will be at AAD! Me, Bianca Sommerland, and Jami Davenport), and it is done all for charity. The authors are all proud sponsors of Hockey Fights Cancer, and that is where we are donating all--yes, ALL--of the royalties we earn from sales of this book. We’ll have copies on hand! It’s a great book, and it’s for a great cause, so be sure you find us to get your copy and have us sign it.

SWAG. We all love SWAG! What cool stuff are you bringing?
Hockey puck stress ball key chains! I’m working on some other fun stuff, but none of the rest is confirmed yet.

I’ll have copies of BREAKAWAY, ON THE FLY, LIGHT THE LAMP, and SEDUCED BY THE GAME from my Portland Storm hockey romance series, and I will probably bring a few copies of some of my historical romances, as well.

Is this your first year attending AAD?

Yes, it is, and I’m very excited about it. I have heard such great things about it from both autghors and readers.

 

What made you want to come to AAD?

Both my street team leader and author friends who have attended kept telling me what a special event it is. Authors recommended it as a great venue to connect with readers on a personal level, which of course is very important to me.

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

Not throwing a party in my room this year but I am hosting one of the tables at the ball. Lust, of course, with the fabulous Saranna DeWylde. I am also in the scavenger hunt, the ribbon party and on three separate panels. The rest of the time, yeah *wink*, hanging out in the bar.

 

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

I just had a release, Ride the Mustang, part of the SEALs Going Hot series, and Spurred to Submission releases in June. Also I’d love for them to check out Beyond Addiction, which just came out from Ellora’s Cave. That was a tough, very intense book to write. And I’d also like them to keep an eye out for Finding Julia, out in September. My first release with Kensington.

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

Wow. Let me think. It’s really hard for me to choose and I’m torn between two: Aftershock and Beyond Addiction. One is an intense love story and the other a very intense BDSM love story. They represent both sides of my writing.

Tell us about the party you’re hosting at AAD!

I heard through the grapevine you’re sponsoring a table at the Sins & Virtues ball. Tell us more!

Yes, hosting with Saranna DeWylde. The Lust, table, of course. We will have favors for our readers and it gives me a chance to chat with readers on a more intimate basis.

What panels will you be on at AAD?

I’m on three of them: BDSM-Where To Start; Erotica; and Sports, which is great because I am just starting a football series for Kensington.

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

Everyone loves the conference costumes. Can you give any hints about what to expect?

It’s a big secret! *wink*

 

SWAG. We all love SWAG! What cool stuff are you bringing?

Still working on that with my street team leader but it will all revolve around my Naked Cowboys and my Phoenix Agency. Although I may have the first Finding Julia swag, too. Think tote bags, clips, buttons, maybe even special key chains.

We’re all excited about the book signing. What books will you have on hand to sign and sell?

Most likely my Phoenix Agency series, which has been a huge hit.

Is this your first year attending AAD?

No, I attended last year but not as a featured author. I had a blast!

 

What brings you back to AAD?

AAD was my very first con and I loved the atmosphere. There’s all this bonding going on and not just between the authors. The readers have so many opportunities to sit and chat with the authors. It’s such a fantastic concept! I’m really looking forward to connecting with the readers.

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

You’ll probably find me hanging out in the lobby especially during down times. I’ll be the one with my head in the laptop trying to squeeze in some words. I also like to hang out at the bar. I’m not a big drinker but I have been known to enjoy a martini or two. I’d love for you to join me.

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

Yes, I’ll have two. One in September called Tessa’s Temptation. This is a full length novel that involves a sassy younger woman and a sexy, domineering older man. The chemistry between the two is explosive. I’ll have swag at AAD to reveal the cover. In October, The Weekend Surprise releases. This is the highly anticipated sequel to The Weekend Proposition.

I’ll be hosting two hours at the Coffee Cafe on Thursday. This is a place where you can come for a hot cup of Joe. We’ll chat, I’ll have some books and swag too! Even if you don’t drink coffee, pop in and visit with me.

What panels will you be on at AAD?

I’m doing the Sports Romance panel. Yum! I’ll have a chance to talk about my sexy, sweaty baseball guys. Don’t miss it!

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

I’m a martini girl. I love the flavored vodkas. If you’re participating in the Blind Book Party and you happen to get my book there just may be a ticket in there to find me and and have a round of drinks with me ;) If you don’t drink, we can have a non-alcoholic concoction.

Is this your first year attending AAD?

Yes, this is my first year at AAD. I’m so excited to be part of this year’s event! I love meeting readers, and from what I hear, the most dedicated readers attend AAD.

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

The one place I know I won’t be is hiding in my room. I spend so much time alone while I’m writing that when I get out I want to stay out! Look for me in the bar or the lobby - wherever there are people to talk to.

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

The fifth book in my Mustangs Baseball series, SPRING TRAINING, came out at the end of March. It’s the conclusion of a trilogy within the series - I know, that’s sort of strange! I first introduced Brooke and Todd as secondary characters in the second book, GOING DEEP. Readers asked to hear more about them, so I wrote a novella, FREE AGENT (which is free everywhere) telling how the couple met. Readers were still asking for more, so I gave Brooke and Todd their happy-ever-after in SPRING TRAINING.

Just a few days ago, INSIDE HEAT, the first book in the series, came out as part of a sports romance boxed set titled HEART OF A CHAMPION. I’m so excited to be part of this collaboration. There are five full-length novels bundled together for only .99.

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

For those who haven’t read any of my books, I’d suggest FREE AGENT. It’s a prequel novella to the Mustangs Baseball series and it’s FREE everywhere online.

What panels will you be on at AAD?

Look for me on the Sports Romance Panel,  Take a Chance, and the Erotica Panel.Drop by and say hello!

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

Since I’m allergic to the sulphites in wine, I go straight to the hard stuff! However, I don’t particularly like the taste of most liquors so I always go for something that is more fruit juice than anything else. And I’ll never turn down a diet soda. :-)

SWAG. We all love SWAG! What cool stuff are you bringing?

I’ve had so much fun shopping for SWAG! If you’re a wine lover, I have the most awesome corkscrews to hand out. I’ll also have t-shirts, and ceramic coasters.

Is this your first year attending AAD?

More like my fourth! AAD is on my calendar as one of the MUST GO TO events of the year.

What brings you back to AAD?

The list could go on for pages but numbers one through one hundred (and beyond) are the readers. AAD is the best con for authors to meet, interact, and have fun with readers passionate about all genres of romance. Besides, it’s a blast!

So where will attendees be able to find you at AAD? Do you hang out in the bar? The lobby? Or are you the one who throws parties in their room?

I’m a lobby type - and always looking for someone to talk with about books, boys, and just about anything else. So come find me!

Do you have a book coming out before AAD you want the attendees to know about?

I just released my first full-length novel, which I will promoting at AAD - Nashville Trio, a Music City Menage (available NOW). I will also be promoting the kickoff of my new paranormal series with a novella called Soul Seduction (due out in July)  

If you were to suggest one of your books to the AAD attendees, which book would it be?

I also love the most recent one, so it’s hard to say!  If you like contemporary menage then definitely Nashville Trio. If paranormal is your thing, then check out Soul Seduction.

Tell us about the EVENTS you’re hosting at AAD!

I’ll be part of a number of events at AAD. I’m teaming up with a bunch of other fab authors to sponsor Karoake at the NC Music Factory on Wednesday night. I’m also hosting a game table at the Game Parlor, where you can try your luck and win some fab prizes!  

What panels will you be on at AAD?

My first story Revving Her Up is about NASCAR so i’m looking forward to the Sports Romance panel. Nashville Trio is of course a menage - and a love story - so Im also on the Multipartne romance panel. You can also find me on the New Adult panel, and on Sci Fi/Fantasy, which are my two other writing (and reading) passions!

If an adoring fan wanted to buy you a drink at the bar, what’s your poison?

I usually drink red wine but can easily be coaxed into trying something sexy but not-too-sweet. Some kind of champagne cocktail with a kick.

Everyone loves the conference costumes. Can you give any hints about what to expect?

I have two fab corsets that I love to wear up at AAD! And since my new paranormal series is about demons you can expect something a little devilish…but that’s all I’m saying! ;-)

I have fun guitar-shaped bottle opener/keychains to promote Nashville Trio, and sexy racing tattoos for Revving Her Up.  I haven’t decided on the swag for Soul Seduction yet, so it will be a surprise to me as well!
