Hi Everyone,Down in sunny Orlando FL for RT convention.

Meeting lots of people and learning a lot, which brings me to todays question.

How much of what you learn at conferences and conventions do you really remember when you get home?

I mean it hectic and fun, but I'm taking notes because I know once my butt hits the plane seat for the ride home I'm not going to remember anything. Mostly because I've found out I'm not a good flyer. Getting on and taking off okay, Landing I want to barf each time.

Not that anyone needed to know that. Anyway I'm enjoying my time here.Few editors and other authors have planted seedlings in my mind and I can't wait to get home and write. We're leaving Monday the 27th and should be back in Maine late that night.Hope everyones having a nice spring so far,

Strange Question Saturday

I'm feeling a little grumpy so I went with one I hope makes anyone who read this laugh.

Does a catfish meow?

Lame I know but can you picture it swimming around twitching its whiskers meowing at the other fish and wondering why they all run away.

Where Have I Been?

Last week has been kind of blah. Not much to say. I did get a lot done on my current projects and feel like I could sleep for a month.

I'm looking forward to RT Convention so much that my bag is already packed. I'll take lots of pics and post as many as I can. The first one's taken fom the plane, I hope.

Weekly Update

Family Stuff
Looked at a few houses while down here in Massachusetts. Maybe a move is in near future, maybe not. We'll have to wait and see. Visited with all my nieces and nephews.

Best thing that happened this week: Dinner with the Divas Saturday night. I haven't laughed that much in long time. The food was great, too.
Lesson learned: I need to get out there more.

Worst thing that happened this week: Car ran out of tranny fluid on the way down and my husband and son had to walk to get more.
Lesson Learned: Check all fluids before you get on the road.

Weekly Update

Family Stuff
Went to meet with Diebtic nurse. I now have to test my blood sugars 3 times a day. I really suck at this. Doing better on diet, it just means eating more veggies. Kids are fine. Couple of the chickens got loose and they had to wrangle them up. Extremely funny to watch. I wish the damn snow would melt.

Best thing that happened this week: It actually happened last week. I signed contracts for 2 new titles. Falling Hard And Fast with Shadowfire Press, and A Damsel Without A Dress with Pink Petal Books.
Lesson learned: Good things come to those who try hard and don't give up.

Worst thing that happened this week: Mom was in hospital. Hate that I'm so far away and can't run and check on her myself. My sisters arre there and keep me informed, but I still feel useless.
Lesson Learned: I need to move back soon before I lose my mind.


Upcoming Schedule:
March
Orthodontist meeting Monday. We have to be there at 10am. I'm just happy she's finally getting them taken care of.
26th- Leaving Thursday for Massachusetts. Staying from March 26th - March 31. They have no snow at my sisters. I can't wait. I'd pack the car now, but I'm afraid I'll be too tempted to drive away.
28- Saturday Night Dinner With The Divas.

April
